FUNCTIONAL SPACE

The spatial configuration of a facility is determined by the Functional Space Program, which formulates operational concepts and specifies the foreseen procedures of a proposed facility. Once the description of functions and services is completed, every proposed activity is considered, while defining the space necessary to carry out that activity, including room circulation space. UHS provides a coordinated space program that takes into consideration all spatial and functional requirements for a modern hospital, whilst keeping it flexible and adaptable for future needs.
